"I'm Malaysian born and now spend my time between Malaysia, Thailand and the UK. I have a passion for beautiful, meaningful things, and being from the East, the craft and culture of Thailand are close to my heart. That's why I launched Thai Elephant Boutique."

"I come from Kuala Lumpur and liked to visit the Central Market and Chinatown with my family as a girl growing up. My mother was a great 'negotiator,' and watching her has really helped me in my adult life when I visit markets and workshops throughout Thailand, establishing contacts and seeking out genuine artisan makers rather than mass-produced imitations."

"I aim to bring you a taste of Thailand with every piece I choose for this range. The elephant is often considered sacred in Thailand and appears frequently in Buddhist iconography — it's a symbol of strength, wisdom, and good fortune, not just a pretty pattern. Our woven elephant shawls carry that motif right through the fabric, our rainbow ombré scarves shift through colour the way I remember silk catching the light in the markets I grew up visiting, and our tote bags are hand-embroidered by artisan makers — no two are ever quite the same."

"I am a self-confessed animal lover. I have rescued cats from the streets myself, and I try to help the street dogs and cats of Thailand as much as I can, whether that's getting them treated, having them neutered, or simply keeping them fed.
